Roger Beaujolais
Spent 1980's playing jump/jive with Chevalier Brothers in clubs, pubs and colleges in UK & on jazz scene in Europe (including Montreux & North Sea Jazz Festivals) and played in Japan and USA. In 1990's was signed to Acid Jazz Records & had 2 CDs out as 'Beaujolais Band' and two CDs out as 'Vibraphonic'. Vibraphonic then released two CDs in USA with Disney's Hollywood Records. Now concentrating on acoustic band - Roger Beaujolais Quintet with third CD released October 2005. As a session musician has recorded with Robert Plant, Morrissey, Roni Size, Kirsty MacColl, Omara Portuondo, Fairground Attraction. Paul Weller, 4Hero, Shola Ama & Alison Limerick. Completely self-taught but teaches jazz vibraphone at Trinity College of Music, London.
