For this Duo Project Michele couldn't have been the better person to collaborate with. I have known him for more then a decade by playing together in the Italian Quartet and we have developed and strengthened a good understanding of one another musicianship. Michele has the ability, through his classical piano training and great understanding of the Jazz idiom, to be a very versatile piano player creating a world of colours, sounds and unpredictable ideas which are a delight to listen to.

The piano parts I wrote are very specific as I had some definite ideas I wanted Michele to play. Most of the tracks in the album are original. I have also added a couple of arrangements of two compositions by Chick Corea and Randy Newman: 'Children's Song number 6' and 'Dexter's Tune' a soundtrack from the movie Awakenings.
